Hello.
I am Julie, a girl of many passions. I’m a writer, bread-baker, runner, avid reader, and hockey mom who loves being around kids. My past involves working at a preschool, being a high school teacher and working with special needs teens as a Resource Specialist. More recently, I’m loving being a full-time wife and stay-at-home mommy to two beautiful boys.
My story includes more then a few cobwebs, but God has been teaching me so much about focusing on Him to find true joy and contentment. My hope is that this blog will be an encouragement to others in this journey to find joy in each and every day, whatever circumstance we find ourselves in.

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit and despair, out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.
